What is Swastika Symbol?

Swastika symbol is one of the oldest known symbols that means good, luck or well being. But Nazis used this to murder millions of people. The Swastika symbol is used by many cultures and countries from time to time and today it is the significant part of many religions and culture. This includes China, Japan, India, Southern Europe, Poland, America and Nazi.

Meaning of Swastika
The word Swastika has been derived from the sanskrit word svastika. According to this
  • "su" meaning "good,"
  • "asti" meaning "to be," and
  • "ka" as a suffix

Germans had also used the Swastika symbol for a long German/Aryan history. Then the Nazis flag also has the Swastika symbol but it became the symbol of hatred, violence and death.

Almost all the temples of Budhha has the Swastika symbol and also the statues of Buddha as Swastika symbol on chest and sole of feet.
